Multiframe Analysis—Loading
These two diagrams display the loading of the structure as modeled in Multiframe. The left is an isometric view. The right shows loads per member in kips (1 kip = 1000 pounds.)
The loadings are approximated to be close to the actual loads on the structure. Since Multiframe does not support concrete slabs (that contribute to diagonal bracing), the loads are placed on beams rather than continuous floors. The tributary areas have been calculated accordingly.
